3. Garry Kasparov - X3D Fritz 1-0. Semi-Slav. Garry decided on a good anti-computer plan with closed position. He had a clear advantage.
2. X3D Fritz - Garry Kasparov 1-0. Spanish. White stood slightly better in the opening. Garry obtained counterplay on the kingside, but then he made a mistake 32...Rg7. Better was 32...Rc8 with equality.
1. Garry Kasparov - X3D Fritz 1/2. Semi-Slav. Garry grabbed the exchange, but Fritz had good drawing chances. Perpetual check.
